About the event
This seminar will ground digital content creators, including writers, designers, illustrators, digital artists and other professionals working in the field on the basic fundamentals of Copyright Law. It will focus especially on what can be protected by copyright and what rights copyright gives you, how you are protected by copyright laws and how long copyright lasts, what enforcement actions can be taken to protect content producers from copyright infringement, and how to avoid the infringement of the copyright of the work of others.
It will address the most significant copyright laws relevant to content producers and include practical steps, pointers and tips. It will also include a discussion on copyright issues for a variety of situations and issues affecting digital content creators, including publication on social media platforms, the distinction between copyright and trademarks, copyright notices, copyright and plagiarism, NFT`s and copyright, copyright and logos, and other similar pertinent issues.
